Bring your own horse to Meadow Springs Guest Ranch

We offer small pastures and paddocks so you can bring your own horse and explore our area. Our ranch is completely surrounded by Crown Land, and you are free to explore it on your own. You can ride for a couple of hours, or all day. There are many lakes, the Old Cariboo Gold Rush Trail, power lines, existing horse trails, livestock routes, and logging roads to ride on. Ride through reforested areas, acres of beautiful natural meadows, and ranch property.

Bring Your Own Horse and Rent a Cabin in British Columbia's South Cariboo

We have lots of room to turn trailers around in, and our water is very palatable to visiting horses. We also have a 50 foot log round pen if extra security is needed to ensure the safety of your horse(s). The round pen may also be used for exercise and/or training.

We recommend that you bring and use a GPS or compass.

We do not charge for your horses if you rent a cabin. There is a small charge for both your horse and your RV if you prefer. See the Rates Page for details.

You'll enjoy riding in our area and every day can be totally different.

We do not have RV sites, but we do have lots of room if you would prefer to stay in your own RV.
The RV does need to be self contained as we do not have washroom facilities.

Here are a few photos of the ranch and surrounding country to give you an idea of what you might see while out riding. We often see both wildlife and cattle when riding as the surrounding land is all Crown land and open range.
